Account Merchant Payment Status | This must be set to 'Enabled' in order to both receive payments through Wise-Pay and to process these payments through the selected payment processor.
Merchant Account Type | Wise-Pay supports the following types of payment processing merchants:
| |
Account for Clearing Payments | Select the current asset account from your accounting package to hold payments until they are cleared. Following best practices, this should be set to the Wise-Pay Clearing Account. This drop-down only displays bank accounts with account codes and Xero accounts for which the Payments Enabled option has been selected.
Bank Account for Prepayments | Select the bank account the prepayments received through Wise-Pay should be allocated to.
Account for Prepayments | Select the revenue account the prepayments received through Wise-Pay should be allocated to. Following best practices, this should be set to the Wise-Pay Pre-Payments Account.
Overpayment Tax Code | Select the tax code to apply the overpayments received through Wise-Pay. This field is used when prepayments or overpayments are received through Wise-Pay (mainly in the case of batch payments).
AVS information |
|
Maximum Credit Card Transaction Amount | Enter the maximum amount allowed for a single credit card transaction. This limit is imposed through your payment processing merchant. If a credit card payment from your payers is greater than this amount, the transaction would fail.
Approve When Paid | Select this option if you wish to receive payments for invoices in the Draft state (for merchants that do not have their Wise-Sync account set to Post to Approve). The draft invoices would be approved upon payments.
Check Scheduled Payments | Select this option to enable Wise-Pay to automatically cancel a scheduled transaction if any changes have been made to the invoice in the underlying accounting system. When selected, Wise-Pay keeps tracks of the invoices scheduled for payments and changes made to them in the accounting package. For details on this configuration, see FAQ- How To Automatically Cancel Scheduled Transaction When the Invoice is Modified in the Accounting Package.
Append Company Name | Select this option to display a payer's company name in the payment gateway console i.e. the company name will be appended to the surname. Enabling this can help in reconciling payments, as the payer's name is more easily identified.
Migrate Existing Payers | If you selected to append the company's name in the above step, you then have the option to apply this to all of your payers.
Base Currency | This is the currency used for this merchant account. It is automatically selected based on the locale selected during setup.
Invoice Source | Enables you to select the source application from where the invoice would be fetched for printing. You can select this to be from ConnectWise or from your accounting package.
ConnectWise User | Enables you to specify the ConnectWise user name that is recorded for the payments received through Wise-Pay.
Allow DDR | Check the DDR box if you wish to allow direct debit for your and your payers' Wise-Pay accounts. Accepting DDR depends on your selected payment processor and its ability to allow direct debits in your region.
Maximum DDR Transaction Amount | Specify the maximum amount that is to be allowed in a direct debit. Once specified, all direct debit transactions through Wise-Pay would be limited to less than or equal to this amount. This limit is defined during your Wise-Pay Activation, taking into account your payment processor and the service availability in your region. It is recommended not to change this.

Important:
The API Key configuration is done during Wise-Pay Activation. You should not be changing this configuration unless there is a change in your API configuration.
