If the transaction status is "Scheduled" you can still cancel the Scheduled payment.
Here's how to do it:
- Log in to Wise-Pay
- Locate the invoice from the Scheduled Payment widget
- Click Actions
- Select Cancel Payment
Note:
If the transaction status shows "Pending", the payment cannot be cancelled. Merchant Administrators will need to manually arrange payments/refunds to the clients whose bank accounts have been debited, as there is no Refund function for Direct Debit.
Cancelling a scheduled Automatic Payment
If a payment is scheduled as a result of an Automatic Payment, payers are unable to cancel these themselves. Only the Merchant Administrator is able to cancel an Automatic Payment, provided it's not yet in a pending state with the Payment Gateway.
