Set up a Payment Term in Datto Autotask PSA

To process automatic payments, Datto Autotask PSA payment terms are mapped to Wise-Pay billing terms. If you need to create a Wise-Pay billing term, you need to create a new Payment Term and Invoice Template in Datto Autotask PSA.

What do I need to do?

The first step is to create a payment term in Datto Autotask PSA. Here's how to do it:

  1. In Datto Autotask PSA, go to Admin > Features and Settings > Finance, Accounting & Invoicing 
  2. Select Payment Terms
  3. Add New Terms

Next you'll need to create a new Invoice Template in Datto Autotask PSA and map it to the new Payment Term. Here's how to do it:

  1.  In Datto Autotask PSA, go to Admin > Features and Settings > Finance, Accounting & Invoicing
  2. Select Invoice Templates 
  3. Add New Invoice Templates

    Note: You may copy from an old Wise-pay Invoice Template

  4. Update the Name, Description and the Payment Terms 
  5. Click Save
