FAQ - How do I know when payment has been processed?

There are several ways to find out when payment has been processed. The Outstanding Payments and Scheduled Payments widget provide additional information by hovering over sections or by selecting Actions.

Bank Account Direct Debits

Direct debits are never marked as paid until Payrix confirms the payment as being received/settled.  That is, the payment has the status of Settled. Which happens on the day that you receive the payment, as Bank debits have a 'late reversal', where the funds may have been debited from the customer's bank but could be reversed immediately up to two days after.

Credit Card payments

Credit Card payments are the only payments that will show as Paid immediately, as they are confirmed as received at the time when the charge is made.
